If you’re looking to upgrade the technology in your vehicle, Sound Depot and Performance has lots of solutions. Recently, a Gainesville client stopped by with his 2004 Ford Expedition looking to add a new in-dash receiver and a backup camera. After we went over his vehicle together, he made a decision and our experienced technicians went to work.
For the source, the client chose our all-new Kenwood DDX394. This item is a DVD receiver with awesome phone connectivity, including Bluetooth, Pandora, Spotify, iHeartradio and USB controls. The receiver is also Sirius XM-ready when adding the Sirius SXV300 tuner. The unit features a 6.2” touchscreen that has a backup camera input that switches when the car is in reverse.
For the backup camera, the client chose our best-selling Echo Master VM-10L license plate mount camera. This product has selectable parking lines so you can park your vehicle easily. For added connectivity, we installed a USBDMA flush-mounted USB port. This port plugs directly into the Kenwood receiver. The port allows direct control of the client’s music on his Android or Apple phone. It also provides power to charge these devices.
When the customer received his Ford Expedition, he was pleased with all the new technology we were able to provide.
