Premium Marine Entertainment Products
Part of why so many clients come back to Sound Depot each time they purchase a new boat are the solutions we offer. With hundreds of options available, our staff takes the time to source products that not only look and sound great but will stand the test of time. Product reliability is key to keeping our clients happy. Our prestigious marine audio offerings include JL Audio, Hertz, Rockford Fosgate and Kenwood. Each brand offers a unique portfolio of solutions that sound great while offering excellent reliability in the harsh marine environment.
Expert System Design
Another reason clients travel from all over the southeastern US to see is us for our expertise in marine audio system design. Knowing how many speakers to use, where to install them, what source unit offers the right features and how to maximize the performance of the amplifiers we suggest ensures that your music will sound great in any seat on the boat and at the end of the tow-rope.
Marine Audio Installation Experts
Working on boats requires a very different skill set than required for cars, trucks and SUVs. Our team of marine audio installation experts has decades of experience working on boats of every conceivable size and shape. We know where we can install speakers and subwoofers, how to run wiring and where best to locate source units and remote controls for convenient system operation.
The materials we use in our installations are as unique as our processes. We work with JL Audio and Stinger marine-grade interconnects, and we use power wire and speaker cable designed specifically for marine applications. This wiring exceeds the UL 1426, ABYC and US Coast Guard standards. The wires’ tinned copper construction resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion and ultra-violet radiation.
We construct mounting panels for amplifiers and reinforcement panels for speakers and subwoofers from composite materials like King Starboard. This marine-grade HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is completely water-resistant, so it won’t swell, rot or go moldy like wood when it gets wet. Our fabrication team can shape it quickly and efficiently for whatever application they need. We use only stainless-steel mounting hardware and fasteners to ensure your system will look great and remain serviceable for the life of your boat.
It’s safe to say that we won’t be the least expensive source for installing an audio system on your boat, but we can guarantee that our products and services are among the very best available. Our goal is to do everything right the first time, every time.
