At Sound Depot and Performance, we love our repeat customers. It validates our belief that we are doing a great job of providing car and truck stereo systems to Gainesville, Florida’s, sound system fanatics.
Recently, a repeat client brought his 2010 Ram 1500 for a multimedia upgrade and a subwoofer sytem to complement his factory premium audio system.
For the stereo source, he chose the all-new Kenwood DDX394. This is a 6.2” double DIN receiver with Bluetooth, Pandora, I-heart radio, and Spotifiy controls with iPhone and Android phone control. This receiver has great features and awesome sound, and costs less than $330.
Because the truck had factory satellite radio and rear seat entertainment, the client choose our popular Maestro interface harness. The Maestro product lets us replace the factory radio while retaining the factory satellite tuner and allowed the factory DVD system to remain operational. It also handles the steering wheel controls, allowing us to program the buttons to the client’s preference. The Maestro interface’s unique programmable functions are why the product is our first choice for integration in newer vehicles. It even allows additional information to display on the new Kenwood receiver, including programmable gauges, tire pressure monitor information, vehicle check engine codes and many other options.
For the subwoofer system, the client chose our popular JL Audio 10w3v3-2 subwoofer in the tuned Atrend a201-10v enclosure.
To power the system, the client chose our best-selling amplifier: the Kenwood x501-1. This amplifier provides 500 watts at 2 ohms and 300 watts at 4 ohms. The Kenwood x501-1 is a versatile amp that we use in many configurations.
