The owner of this gorgeous 2017 Jaguar F-Pace came to Sound Depot and Performance in Gainesville, Florida, to get window tint for his new ride. During our time with the client, he quickly realized that we offered a lot more than just window tint. The discussion extended to paint protection film and radar detection. We worked with the client to provide solutions that would meet his expectations in each area. Then we got his approval on our quote. We made an appointment to do the work and thus begin the transformation.
Jaguar F-Pace Window Tint
After showing the client how much heat energy 3M Crystalline film blocked, he knew he had to have it. We tinted the side and rear windows with Crystalline 40% film. To maximize the heat rejection in the vehicle, we installed Crystalline 70% on the front windshield. No matter how harsh the Florida sun gets, the interior of this hot SUV will stay nice and cool.
Paint Protection Film
To protect the front of the vehicle from rock and stone chips, we applied SunTek Paint Protection film to the front bumper and the leading portions of the hood and fenders. We also covered the rearview mirrors. This film will absorb impacts from small stones and rocks. It also resists damage from bugs. The SunTek film will help keep his Jag looking line new.
Radar Detector Installation
Thanks to the BlendMount radar detector mount, the client now has an integrated-looking radar detector.
The Florida Highway Patrol love to catch drivers in zones just after the speed limit drops. Our client had already purchased an Escort 9500ix radar detector. We showed him how we could secure it to his vehicle without the need of unsightly suction cups. We secured a BlendMount id-jag-004 bracket to the rearview mirror post to hold the detector perfectly in the center of the windshield. We also ran the power cord neatly through the headliner to keep the installation clean and tidy.
Accessories
Dual USB charging ports ensure the client will never have any dead devices.
The client wanted a few more USB charging ports for his portable devices. We installed a pair of PAC IS4324 USB charge ports in the center console. Each port provides a healthy 2.4 amps of current. This is more than enough current to charge any phone or tablet on the market.
The client returned to Sound Depot and Performance to pick up his F-Pace. He was looking at the vehicle before he came into the store to pay, and we could already see a smile on his face. He noted that it was hard to find the edge of the paint protection film on the hood and that the window film looked great!
