A client from here in Gainesville recently visited Sound Depot and Performance in search of a bedcover for his new 2019 Ram 1500 pickup. The client had found our shop after searching for truck accessories online and reading several articles on our website.
After greeting the client, we talked to him about how he intended to use his new truck and what features he wanted in a cover. Armed with that information, we gave the truck a quick inspection to ensure that we had accurate bed size information then worked with the client to choose a cover that would meet his needs and look great.
UnderCover ArmorFlex Tonneau Cover
The client wanted a hard bed cover that would protect the contents of the truck bed from theft. We suggested the UnderCover ArmorFlex folding cover as a solution. This folding hard cover includes three main fiberglass panels that can be folded quickly and easily from either side of the vehicle. Each panel is coated with a layer of genuine Line-X bed coating material to provide a tough and extremely durable finish that won’t scratch, chip or fade over time.
The cover sits just about flush with the bed rails for a clean and tidy look. Thick rubber seals between the panels and along the sides of the cover help keep water, dust and debris out of the truck bed. A dual-action seal on the back of the cover allows the client to open or close the tailgate with the cover in place.
Easy Truck Bed Access

The client can open the cover by pulling on the release cable after folding down the tailgate. The cover can be flipped open completely and held in place against the back window of the truck using the supplied support rods. If one or two panels need to remain open, nylon straps hold the cover in place while the vehicle is in motion.
Ram 1500 Bedcover Installation
Our technicians installed the bedcover onto the Ram 1500 for the client using the included clamps. Installing the cover doesn’t require any drilling or permanent modifications to the vehicle, so there’s no chance of damage or corrosion.
With the installation complete and the cover alignment double-checked, we showed the client how to use and care for his new cover. He was impressed with the fit and finish, as well as with our customer service.
