Recently, a Gainesville client called us, looking for a bass upgrade in his new 2016 Honda Accord Coupe. After we invited him to our facility and spent time with him, he made his bass upgrade decision and choose some styling upgrades as well.
For the audio portion, the client wanted lots of deep bass, but didn’t want to give up space in the trunk. He chose the compact JL Audio CP212tw1-2. This enclosure houses two JL Audio 12TW1 subwoofers. To power the system, the client chose the powerful JL Audio XD600/1v2 Class D amplifier. For additional control, we installed a JL Audio HD-RLC bass level control. We added this system to the factory receiver, keeping the OEM look and technology in the dash.
While the vehicle was in the bay, the client had us smoke his tail lights. Sound Depot offers a unique cherry smoke paint that can add a smoked look but retain a red reflective finish, keeping the vehicle safe. As you can see in the pictures, the tail light upgrade looked great!
When the client came to pick up his accord, he was very pleased with the new look and the enhanced audio upgrade.
