The Challenges of Factory Integration

As factory systems have become more complex it has become increasingly difficult to bypass or integrate new audio equipment into many vehicles. We often had to take out everything and start from scratch– and there could still be features or options that our clients would lose. Steering wheel controls and factory amps were often lost just because a client wanted to upgrade to a new head unit…because they really craved updated features like navigation or Bluetooth.

There have been some separate integration solutions that would allow us to keep one feature or another, but the ADS MRR Maestro is the first all-in-one solution that can go above and beyond. With a new compatible Kenwood, JVC, or Alpine head unit and a select GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, or VW vehicle coupled to the Maestro adapter, you can keep your steering wheel controls. More importantly, you can keep the factory amplifier, factory Bluetooth, Ford Sync, GM OnStar, Chrysler Uconnect, and most backup cameras. Many of these features would have to be sacrificed without the Maestro.

By using the ADS MRR Maestro you may even be able to tap into your vehicles complex computerized monitoring system. With the right head unit, you can get on-screen displays of other vehicle information such as additional gauges, climate control, battery voltage, and even engine codes. Many of these features can be programmed in and even reassigned when the unit is initially set up. Imagine an accurate turbo boost gauge right on your radio screen!
