What Does a Dash Camera Do?

The Momento Md-4200
The MD-4200 is a full-feature system with front and rear cameras and a 16 GB micro-SD card. It has a 3.5” LCD touch screen monitor with 720 P front resolution and 480 P rear resolution. You can choose from continuous, incident continuous, incident parking, parking, and manual modes for recording. The system is hard-wired to turn on automatically when you start your vehicle and will also start recording after an impact when parked. It will auto-save any events, and the video can be viewed for playback on any PC or Mac computer with an app.

The Momento MD-5200
The Momento MD-5200 system offers several upgrades over the MD-4200. First of all is a Sony Exmor image sensor that offers superior stability and low-light characteristics for improved details at night. The resolution steps up to a full HD 1080 P for the front and 720 P for the rear. The MD-4200 will accept an optional GPS unit; with the MD-5200, it is included so GPS information is recorded along with the video for location and speed. The memory card is upgraded to 32 GB and the warranty goes up a year to two years.
