Rockford Fosgate PMX-HD9813 Design Features
The PMX-HD9813 is based on the same platform as Rockford’s highly regarded marine source units. This radio features a single-DIN chassis with an oversized weather-resistant front panel. All the connections on the back of the radio are directly compatible with the factory wire harnesses on supported applications to make the installation clean, tidy and reliable.
The front panel of the PMX-HD9813 features a 3-inch, full-color TFT display that makes it easy to see what station you’re on or what track is playing. A large rotary volume control allows for easy adjustability, and the stereo controls on the handlebars work with the new Rockford source unit.
Source and Connectivity Options
One of the key features of the HD9813 is A2DP Bluetooth audio streaming. This technology lets you connect your smartphone or a portable media player such as a Sony Walkman or an Astell & Kern KANN. You can even change tracks from the radio using the AVCRP function built into the Bluetooth connection.
Another important feature for music lovers is the USB port. You can plug in an iPhone or iPod or connect a USB memory stick to listen to your digital audio collection.
