When Rockford designed this system, they thought of everything – and we mean everything! They used 3D imaging to custom-design the sub enclosure. The result is that you don’t give up any cabin or storage space. They include wiring harnesses that plug into the factory harness, and everything bolts into factory locations without having to cut any wires or drill any holes. The Rockford design team includes every required mounting bracket, wire, cable, nut, bolt and screw, ensuring a clean, custom installation and the ultimate sound for your RZR.
Source, Four Speakers, Sub and Two Amps
The system starts with a custom head unit with mounting kit included. The PMX-2 has a 2.7″ screen and offers AM/FM/WB as well as Bluetooth, an aux input and USB. It will even let you know if the voltage drops on your battery so you won’t get stranded. The included cables will connect you to a powerful 4 x 100 watt marine-grade amplifier for the mids and highs, as well as a 750 watt mono amplifier for the 10″ sub. The front marine-grade speakers bolt right into factory holes. The rear tower speakers mount with included clamps on a rear roll bar and can be adjusted for the perfect angle. Last but not least is a 3D imaging-designed sub enclosure that conveniently mounts under the front dash for no wasted space, and holds a single 2 ohm 10″ subwoofer for awesome bottom end.
Built Tough for a Rough Environment
The RZR is built to go just about anywhere in just about any kind of weather. The Rockford Stage 5 system has to be built just as tough, and has to withstand the same rough terrain and exposure to harsh weather. The engineers at Rockford have managed to take this challenging environment and open platform, and made it sound amazing. The system is designed for great sound and has plenty of power to be heard as you run your RZR wide open through the countryside. Loading the woofer under the front dash area gives you bass that you wouldn’t expect in such an open vehicle.
