Recently, a Belleview, Florida, client contacted us about upgrading the factory Harley stereo system in his 2017 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The client had previously installed a Rockford Fosgate HD14-Tkit front fairing audio system, and he needed to have the factory radio re-flashed to optimize the equalizer setting on his new bike. After flashing the radio, the client was very pleased with the better sound, but still felt like he needed more. That’s when our sales team showed him the new Rockford Fosgate TMS69BL14 rear speaker bag lid kit. The client liked the quality and built of the rear kit, and scheduled an appointment to have it installed.
This rear bag lid retrofit kit allows the addition of rear speakers on 2014 and up Harley-Davidson bikes with hardshell bag lids. The kit is built to partner with the HD14-Tkit. These kits are also available for the 1998–2013 Harley-Davidson bikes as well.
After we installed the rear speaker addition and tuning the system, the client was very pleased with the sound of his newly upgraded system.
