Recently, a Gainesville client came by the shop, looking to add bass to his 2015 Dodge Challenger. He wanted to add a loud subwoofer system but keep the factory stereo. After going through his options and budget, he made an excellent choice and selected the JL Audio CP212wWo-V3 subwoofer enclosure.
The CP212Wo-V3 enclosure is designed and built by JL Audio for their 12W0V3-4 subwoofers. The JL Audio enclosure offers excellent efficiency and does a great job with the low frequencies in today’s music.
To power the JL Audio enclosure, the client chose our best-selling amplifier: the Kenwood X501-1. This 500 watt amplifier is a great product with exceptional power and outstanding value, coming in at just under $200.
To give the client additional control over his new amp and subs, we installed a PAC LC-1 subwoofer level control. This simple upgrade adds complete control over the output of the new system.
After we installed and tuned the system, the client was thrilled with the performance and output he received for the small amount of money he spent.
